Physion has developed a controllable method of delivering drugs endovesical and into the prostatic urethra. EMDA uses electrical current to communicate and accelerate directionally (through the tissues) the movement of ions of drugs administered in an intravesical solution, which produces a greater and deeper concentration of these in the tissues, notably increasing their effectiveness in comparison with what is achieved through passive diffusion. All treatments for the various pathologies are conducted under an established protocol to achieve maximum effectiveness.
