The innovative i-Stitch offers a fast and effective way of securing sutures to tissue, particularly in difficult to reach areas such as the medial posterior orientation of the sacrospinous ligament. The instrument is designed for easy intervention with just one hand.

Once fitted with the disposable loading unit, comprising a thumb slide, dispenser, hollow needle and specially shaped suture material, the reusable instrument is ready for suture fixation in just three easy steps.

Once positioned, the tip of the i-Stitch is pressed into the tissue until it penetrates. The hollow needle loaded with suture is pushed forward until the elastic suture end passes through the tip of the instrument. Once the suture end has clicked firmly into place, the hollow needle can be pulled back and the instrument carefully removed from the tissue.
